DIY Graphic Design

DIY Graphic Design

Recently, I’ve been getting quite a few questions on what graphic design programs I use and if there are any free, non-Creative Suite programs that can do the same thing. Something that non-designers can use by themselves for quick projects. Word? PowerPoint? Paint? I had no clue honestly. And I’m not a fan of any of those three. I know some people use Publisher, but not everyone has that either.

I just came across the site http://www.canva.com, a free and simple to use graphic design program that includes templates, images, fonts, and more! A DIY (Do-It-Yourself) way to graphic design for non-designers. You just need to be connected to the internet and you’re ready to go. Also, the homepage is pretty trippy…I spent a good few seconds moving my mouse around to try to reveal the background.

For you non-designers, for the short, simple projects that you just want to do yourselves, check this out!
